YOUNG ENGINEERS (YE-22) AND PUF 2022
The YE-22 and PUF was held as an in-person conference in conjunction with the HK IEEE TENCON 2022 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. It was the third successful Young Engineers Conference run by the CT/OES Joint Chapter of the HKIEEE. The YE-22 allowed students to present project posters, and produce a student paper for publication on ResearchGate. It was combined with a Pre-University Forum (PUF) allowing younger students the chance to just present posters and present for 15 minutes.
These pre-uni conferences are designed to allow talented students to present topics of interest or work they are involved with. These are usually STEM related and the event offers students to receive credit for this work. This recognition is especially useful, for students, when applying to schools and universities for continuing or future study.
There were a total of NN presentations with three presenters from WuXi near to Shanghai. Presentations, posters and papers were allowed to be in mother tongue language. Two presenters used the Putonghua with the simplified Chinese character font and one used Cantonese with the traditional Chinese character font. English language translations of these students work will be posted with the original documents.
